Pat vs. Chargers
Ok, I am late on this plate. But this Saturday’s game between New England’s Patriots vs. San Diego’s Chargers will be the one (hopefully the only one needed) to send Pat to Super Bowl. The game will be broadcasted live across North America and rebroadcasted in many parts of Asia as well. I believe that NBA, MLB or NFL, not IBM, Microsoft, Google or Hollywood (which currently is experiencing a severe brain drain due to writers strike), hold the greatest promise for the American exports. Let the ball games stop the ever sliding greenbacks! Hopefully the mighty greenback would be as resilient as Red Sox or Patriots. If you watched Red Sox’s post season games, you know what I mean.
If there is anything I am missing about goo’old Boston. It is the sport teams. They are absolutely on tear this year. There is nothing to be more thrilling for a sport fan than to have the luxury of sweeping World Series Champion, Super Bowl and NBA all time Champion all in one season. Especially for the last one, NBA all time champion, that is a title that has not kissed Boston Celtics for more 20 years! Keep finger crossed.
By the way, Patriot’s 16 wins in a row, so far, is a statistical rarity and that, I expect, will stay on record book for a long time. Go Pat!
